Finding 'Dr. Right'

Finding the right Doctor is like finding the right man. It's hard enough to find one you feel totally comfortable with, let alone one who is genuinely interested in your well-being and doesn't make you feel like a number.

We've all been through the doctor's office assembly line: whisked in and out with a prescription in hand for ailments we hardly knew we had without so much as a 'how ya doin?'

We've had dermatologist visits that literally lasted no more than 60 seconds, only to be told, "Just stop using facial lotion!" --(Insert cut-away to our esthetician screaming in horror) --

And what about Gynacologists? Now there's a needle in the haystack! Just for fun, ask 5 girlfriends if they could recommend a good gynecologist and wait for the blank stares and crickets.

It's not that there aren't multitudes of fantastic physicians out there, it's that they are either over-worked or driving a cab.
