Ouch!
Serena Williams is almost as famous for her honking earrings as her game.
The 80s are taking over. What do you think? Do you love these heavy weights or hate them?

Hahahaha! I hate them. I think they are really gaudy. Down with the clunkers!
Thanks but no thanks. I think Marisa Tomei pulled huge hoops off nicely in the 80s/90s, but let's not revisit this trend please.
Just because they are not to your tastes is no reason to disparage them. Nothing is worse than adult women trying to look and dress like teenagers which seems to be the trend. This is what happens when the fashion industry holds up teens and twenty somethings as arbitors of taste, style and fashion. Lindsey Lohan on the cover of a magazine - please I would not take directions from here to the corner from a train wreck in progress and she is held up as a fashion statement! These teenbopper icons and models were not aware in the 80"s so everything old is new to them. Given that Madison avenue caters to their every whim like it was a pronouncement from on high in hopes of capturing the almighty dollar - what else do you expect. It depends on the wearer and the proportions. If the wearer likes the statement being made then - your point is?! People dress and accessorize to please themselves and to avoid being naked and in order to have a place to put their car keys :) Presuming they are old enough to drive and or reach the pedals.
Anonymous, disparaging trends is a favourite past time of ours here on the Chicklit blog. It's like a sport, no?
So though I totally see your point I can't let these honkers off that easily. I must defend earlobes around the world. Those earrings are simply oppressive.
