Ladies, I think we can all admit that we've fallen for a trend or two in our lifetime we'd rather not relive (burning photos as we speak). Some trends have reemerged, like the modernized '80s blazer - a wardrobe staple. What about the ones that aren't so hot ,like tapered jeans and frosty blue eyeshadow? Why? is all I can say.
What do you think of the latest trends in nails: gradient colour? Not familiar? Celebrities like reality TV star, Lauren Conrad, have sported this trend on their tips.

Hot or not? Will you try this nail trend or are you way ahead of us and wearing it as we speak? If you have your eye on a great trend you think everyone should be doing/wearing/saying we want to know! And heck, if you think a hot trend is just so wrong, share that too. Please include a photo with your rant or rave email, and you may see it here on ChickLit!

L.O.V.E love it, absolutely love it, especially the pretty pastel ones displayed below Lauren Conrad.
I agree with Jess. The paler shades look really pretty in this style but for darker ones I think it needs to be more gradual to not look like a kid who couldn't decide which polish to wear.
I agree with Ali and Jess, I think this works for pastels but if you use darker shades it would look like you were at the spa trying to decide which color looked best on you and could not decide!
I dunno about this one. These gradient nails remind me of this one night I was having dinner with my fiance and his friend. This young guy was sitting near us eating by himself, so as a nice gesture, my fiance's friend invites him over to sit with us.
I couldn't help but notice he had pastel gradient nails. He was a weird one. He kept on talking about inappropriate stuff - like how I should slice my eyelids open because I looked really tired. I seriously would have stabbed my chopsticks into his head if I weren't sitting between two 6ft4 men.
Anyways, I say no to pastel gradient nails. Totally reminds me of psycho guy.
Miss L, hilarious story. I can understand why this trend wouldn't be appealing to you!
